Aimtec recommends using a 10uF to 22uF ceramic or electrolytic capacitor with a voltage rating of at least 25V, placed as close to the input pins as possible.
Aimtec recommends using a soldering iron with a temperature of 250°C to 270°C, and applying a small amount of solder paste to the pins before reflow soldering. Ensure the module is properly aligned and secured to the PCB before soldering.
The maximum allowed capacitance on the output is 47uF. Exceeding this value may cause instability or oscillation in the converter.
The AM1DR-0505S-NZ is rated for operation up to 85°C ambient temperature. However, derating may be necessary for temperatures above 70°C. Consult the datasheet for derating curves and guidelines.
Check the input voltage, output load, and PCB layout for any issues. Verify that the input voltage is within the specified range, and that the output is not overloaded. Check for any signs of overheating or physical damage to the module.
