Aimtec recommends a PCB layout with a large copper area for heat dissipation, and a minimum of 2 oz copper thickness. A thermal via array under the module can also improve heat dissipation.
Aimtec recommends using a soldering profile with a peak temperature of 240°C to 250°C, and a soldering time of 3-5 seconds. A soldering iron with a temperature-controlled tip is recommended.
The maximum allowable voltage deviation for the input voltage is ±10% of the nominal input voltage. Exceeding this deviation may affect the module's performance and reliability.
The AME15-24SMAZ is designed to operate in a humidity range of 20% to 80% RH. However, it's recommended to take precautions to prevent moisture ingress, such as conformal coating or potting, in high-humidity environments.
Aimtec recommends using a low-ESR ceramic capacitor with a value of 10uF to 22uF, and a voltage rating of 25V or higher, as close to the module's input pins as possible.
