The maximum operating temperature range for the BU2506DX is -40°C to 125°C.
To ensure proper biasing, connect the VCC pin to a stable voltage source, and decouple it with a 10uF capacitor to ground. Also, ensure the input voltage is within the recommended range (4.5V to 18V).
To minimize electromagnetic interference (EMI) and ensure reliable operation, use a multi-layer PCB with a solid ground plane, keep the input and output traces short and separate, and use a common-mode choke or ferrite bead on the input lines.
Use a voltage regulator or a transient voltage suppressor (TVS) to protect the BU2506DX from overvoltage conditions. For overcurrent protection, add a fuse or a current-limiting resistor in series with the input voltage.
A 10uF to 22uF X7R or X5R ceramic capacitor is recommended for input decoupling, placed as close as possible to the VCC pin.
