    FMMT624TC Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

    • A thermal pad on the bottom of the package should be connected to a large copper area on the PCB to dissipate heat. A minimum of 2oz copper thickness is recommended. Additionally, vias should be placed under the thermal pad to connect to a solid copper plane on the bottom layer.
    • The FMMT624TC requires a bias voltage of 2.5V to 5.5V on the VCC pin. A decoupling capacitor of 1uF to 10uF should be placed close to the VCC pin to filter out noise. Additionally, a pull-up resistor of 1kΩ to 10kΩ should be connected between the VCC pin and the output pin to ensure proper biasing.
    • The maximum current rating for the output pin is 100mA. Exceeding this current may cause damage to the device. It is recommended to add a current-limiting resistor in series with the output pin to prevent overcurrent conditions.
    • The FMMT624TC has built-in ESD protection, but additional protection measures can be taken. A TVS diode or a zener diode can be connected between the input pins and the power supply to protect against overvoltage. Additionally, a series resistor can be added to the input pins to limit the current in case of an ESD event.
    • The recommended operating temperature range for the FMMT624TC is -40°C to 125°C. Operating the device outside of this range may affect its performance and reliability.
