A 4-layer PCB with a solid ground plane and a separate power plane is recommended. Keep the input and output tracks as short as possible and use a common mode choke to reduce EMI.
To ensure stability, use a minimum output capacitance of 10uF, and a maximum ESR of 1 ohm. Also, ensure the input voltage is within the recommended range and the device is operated within the specified temperature range.
The maximum allowed input voltage ripple is 10% of the nominal input voltage. Exceeding this limit may affect the device's performance and reliability.
While the device is rated for operation up to 125°C, it's recommended to derate the output current and input voltage to ensure reliable operation in high-temperature environments.
Check the input voltage, output current, and PCB layout for any issues. Verify that the device is operated within the specified temperature range and the output capacitance is within the recommended range. Consult the datasheet and application notes for more information.
