The TLC5916IPW can source up to 30mA and sink up to 50mA per output.
To ensure consistent LED current, use an external resistor (Rext) to set the current, and make sure to use LEDs with similar forward voltage drops.
The EN (enable) pin is used to enable or disable the entire device. When EN is low, the device is in shutdown mode, and all outputs are turned off. When EN is high, the device is enabled, and the outputs are active.
The TLC5916IPW uses a 7-bit grayscale PWM (pulse-width modulation) to control the brightness of the LEDs. You can program the device using an external microcontroller to achieve the desired brightness or dimming effect.
