The TMP103DYFFT can operate from -40°C to 125°C, but the accuracy specifications are only guaranteed from -20°C to 100°C.
The TMP103DYFFT does not require calibration. It is a digital temperature sensor that provides a calibrated digital output. However, you may need to perform a one-time initialization to set the device's address and other configuration settings.
The TMP103DYFFT has a resolution of 0.0625°C (1/16°C) for temperatures between -20°C and 100°C, and 0.125°C (1/8°C) for temperatures outside this range.
You can connect multiple TMP103DYFFT devices to the same I2C bus by assigning a unique address to each device using the A0, A1, and A2 pins. This allows you to connect up to 8 devices to the same bus.
The TMP103DYFFT has a typical active current consumption of 10 μA and a shutdown current consumption of 0.5 μA. The device also has a power-down mode that reduces power consumption to 0.1 μA.
