A 2-layer or 4-layer PCB with a solid ground plane and thermal vias is recommended. The device should be placed near a thermal pad or a heat sink to dissipate heat efficiently.
Follow the recommended power-up sequence: VCC, then VIN, then EN. Ensure the input voltage is within the recommended range (2.7V to 5.5V) and the enable pin is properly configured (active high or active low).
The maximum current rating for the output pins is 1A per pin, with a total current limit of 2A for all outputs combined.
The TPS3600D33PWR has built-in OVP and UVP. For OVP, the device will shut down if the input voltage exceeds 6.5V. For UVP, the device will shut down if the input voltage falls below 2.2V.
A 10uF to 22uF ceramic capacitor (X5R or X7R dielectric) is recommended for input decoupling, placed as close to the VIN pin as possible.
